Join David on this opportunity to sketch and paint rivers, valleys and

waterfalls in Exmoor National Park.

Details

Exmoor is the ideal place to paint water with it's meandering rivers,

cascading rivers, waterfalls, streams and estuaries and coastal scenery.

We will produce some sketches on location around the hotel and down

the Barle Valley but will spend most of the time in the studio producing

full paintings.

David will help you choose the right composition so you can paint simple,

yet dynamic scenes. His approachable teaching style will enable you to

get the most from your sketches and paintings.

He will guide you through a painting each day and give tips and

techniques the rest of the time through advice and thumbnail sketches

and will spend much of his time giving one-to-one tuition.

David is your ideal tutor as he creates bold, loose watercolours full of

light and atmosphere. He will teach you how to paint simple, uncluttered

sketches that have that spontaneous feel to them.
